Synergy Engineering has been an active player in the Indonesia energy sector since 2007, offering complete engineering lifecycle requirements of a project. We provide comprehensive technical services primarily to Energy sector including Oil and Gas, Renewables Energy, Solar, and general industry. Our clientele encompasses major Field Operators, Plant Owners, EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) contractors and global engineering design consultancies.

Synergy Indonesia has three offices located at Jakarta, Balikpapan, Pekan Baru supporting our clients. We have office with 350 personnel with facilities to support up to 70 clients and partners personnel, and a comfortable environment, with close access to major client office and airports. 

1. Senior Engineer (Process)

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Process Engineering in the development of process simulations, PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment/line sizing, SAFE charts and all other process documentation required by other engineering disciplines. This also includes specification of all process equipment and systems.
  • Ensure that design in all areas of responsibilities in accordance with the Basis of Design, Company HSE and quality standards and relevant codes and specifications.
  • Assist with the preparation of maintenance and sparing plans for the production phase.
  • Check prints engineering deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of facilities design and implementation experience oil and gas facilities experience.
  • Strong technical/ engineering skills in a multi-discipline arena with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and manufacturers and system suppliers, including the design, specification, manufacturing, testing, installation, hookup, commissioning and start-up of major gas turbine driven compression and power generation equipment.
  • Must be computer literate (Ms Office, HYSYS, pipesim, pipenet, PHAST, OLGA, Ledaflow, Flarenet).
  • The candidate is expected to be well versed with contemporary computer software used for process simulation and familiar with API, ASME and relevant Standards and design codes.

  • Applicants should be self-starters, able to work independently, willingness to learn and have a passion in delivery the tasks with tight deadline.
  • Strong analytical skills and creative in handling projects.

2. Programmer (Middle)

Job Responsibilities

  • The duties will include managing systems performance, providing technical support, reviewing and updating existing programs, identifying and fixing defects, supporting data architecture, generating reports and mitigating potential risk.
  • Increase efficiency and service through the construction, maintenance, and streamlining of company’s computing systems and programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
  • Strong experience in GIT, SQL, Modern Application Development using OOP Framework (i.e. Ruby on Rail, Laravel, Symfony), Unix Environment, React Native (for mobile android and iOS) & knowledge in Agile Methodology (SCRUM).
  • At least 6 years experience in developing real lufe web application using modern frameworks (i.e. Ruby on Rail and 1 other programming language).
