Established in 1984, PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (“Apexindo”/ “Company”) is the only Indonesian drilling contractor with offshore and onshore drilling capacity for the oil and gas, geothermal and coal bed methane industries. With its high quality and highly maintained fleet of six offshore rigs (2 jack-up and 4 swamp barges) and eight onshore rigs, Apexindo has been drilling for clients which include some of the largest international and domestic energy companies, such as Total E&P Indonesie, Chevron, Pertamina, VICO Indonesia, and Santos.

The Company’s commitment in providing quality without compromise has resulted in long and solid relationship with its clients (such as VICO Indonesia and Total E&P Indonesie, which commenced in early 1980 and 1990, respectively), and exceptional achievement in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) aspect.

In order to provide maximum value for all stakeholders, the Company obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification for Quality Management System in 2005, later upgraded in 2008 by obtaining ISO 9001:2008 certification. In 2011, Apexindo obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification in Environment Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 certification in Safety and Health Management Systems. In 2002, to support the business expansion strategy, Apexindo had listed its shares at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In 2009, the Company performed a voluntary delisting related to Capital Market regulations pertaining to chain listing. In June 2013, Apexindo successfully relisted its shares at IDX with APEX as its ticker. In 2014, Apexindo successfully renewed three of its certification systems, settled Apexindo Pratama Duta II Year 2009 Seri B IDR Bonds, merged with its holding company, PT Apexindo Energi Investama, and welcomed the newly-built jack up rig, Tasha.

We are looking for qualified candidates for the position below:

1. Rig Mover

Objectives:

• To ensure the safety and integrity of the rig relating to rig move activities.

General Requirements:

• D3 degree in Nautica
• Having ANT III certification/ comply STCW 1995
• Having minimum 5 years of working experience as Rig Mover
• Familiar with stability and nautical processes
• Good command in English, both oral and written
• Having good communication and interpersonal skill
• Having supervisory skill
• Willing to be placed in Balikpapan

2. Driller

General Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in the similar position on offshore drilling rig
• Minimum High School graduates or equivalent.
• Have valid IWCF/ IADC certification
• Have technical knowledge in drilling equipment & drilling process for offshore
• Have a thorough knowledge of rig emergency signals and procedures
• Have a thorough knowledge of hand signals and safe working procedures for equipment   handling
• Legislative safe work practice knowledge
• Proficiency in English (written & oral)

3. Safety Officer

General Requirements:

• Minimum diploma degree in Public Health or Engineering
• Have minimum 3 years of experience in the similar position in drilling industry
• Have valid K3 Migas Certification
• Have technical knowledge in drilling equipment and drilling process for offshore/onshore
• Have occupational health and safety knowledge and experience

4. Tool pusher - Offshore

General Requirements:

• Have minimum 5 years of experience in the same position on Cyber Base Jack Ups
• Have valid IADC/ IWCF certifications
• Experience in management and supervision of multinational crews
• Have technical knowledge in drilling equipment & drilling process for offshore operation
• Have experience in drilling/logging/running casing and completions/BOP Operations
• Familiar with well control procedures / stuck pipe procedures / fishing operations
• Experience in rig move operations
• Proficient in HSE Processes and Administrative processes
• Proficient in English (written & oral)
• Have good communication and supervisory skills
